A couple pics and a surprise...

So, I have not yet been successful at getting a copy of any of those boat trip and camping pictures. I keep forgetting my thumb drive when I am over at Mark and Nancy's place, so I will try to get those this weekend since I have an extra day of relaxation and thus no excuse!

Two weekends ago, Nancy was away at a training, so Mark was trying to keep the kids from getting bored by bringing the new puppies, the kids and the tent to the end of the road for a picnic and hang out. It's a good spot to go since there is a lake and little creek for fishing trout and also lots of berries on the hills around the lake. I went along because I had nothing to do and love having an excuse to get some fresh air.

Then today, I woke up rather late, feeling... umm... not as chipper as usual after the birthday party last night for a few of the teachers. So, I spent most of my morning on the couch with the blinds closed still. When I got curious about the weather I looked through the blinds to see a winter wonderland... If only this snow would stay we might be skidooing soon! haha...
