OVER A MONTH!!!!

I need to give a HUGE apology is ANY of my readers are still out there!!! This year has been TOTALLY nuts! I have avoided going on my computer since coming back up north because of the insane slowness of the internet connection in town. I guess I was spoiled with HIGH speed back at my parents place and was depressed to think how painful it is to surf up here.

Other than that, school is quite hectic. I have almost exclusively one group of students this year. The same clas as last year so all of my Math and English projects/ assignments from the past few years cannot be used and I feel like I have the workload of a brand new teacher. Not that I am complaining, it is just simply exhausting me!

There are around 5 new teachers and they are all quite fun. They have also created a very different social scene than last year, as most of them are with their families... Most of my party gals from last year left so, things are clearly different.

I wish I had some pictures from the few boat trips I have been lucky enough to go along on. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera and need to get a copy of Heather and Nancy's pictures before I can post anything. One of the trips was an overnighter to a cabin to the mouth of the Koroc River. It was SO great!

My life the last couple weeks has been rather one track as well. I bought myself a special present this summer, the special Collector's Edition boxed set of the entire series of Sex and the City... So, instead of surfing in my free time, I have been watching the 94 episodes of SATC... Such a HILARIOUS and incredibly dramatic show. It has given me a HUGE drive to visit New York... I have been dreaming of sipping cocktails over dinner in the West Village with a hot guy or a group of girlfriends and shopping for shoes and clothes... I can't wait for my year off!

Well, I just wanted to touch base and say, "I am alive!" Let me know if any of you are still out there! I hope that your Autumn is starting well, and that health and happiness is abundant!

Take care everyone!
