All Apologies...
Ω What else should I be... All apologies... Ω (Lyrics from a Nirvana song)
Well, I cannot believe it's summer holidays (phew, FINALLY!) since the last month and a half of school was pure insanity! I was SO busy that I am not even sure how I finished everything I was supposed to do before I left on the plane... but it all got done, so I guess I was good!
Since I missed SO many awesome experiences to tell you about, I am going to attempt with pictures to recap the events that happened since my last post (end of May) until the present! I apologise again though that this might take me a week to catch up since there are many steps involved in a post... Choosing the words and then editing them, choosing the pictures then editing them to an appropriate size, deciding on the right layout, then waiting for the technology to upload things... Enough with the excuses...
Flashback to the first week in June. A week to the day before my birthday played host to a surprise birthday fest. Since my birthday was the Saturday on which many of the teachers were leaving for the south, a few of my buddies decided to celebrate with some very unique and luscious cakes during an otherwise typical teacher dance party. April and Krystal (two of the new teachers to our school who I love to pieces, and will miss greatly as they are moving on next year) prepared the treats, decorations and such. It was an extremely special night, and almost all of the teachers, including Kerrin's brother who was just visiting (and tall, dark and handsome by the way, hehehe), and the principal, Jean and his wife, who haven't made it out to many parties this year. It was so much fun to celebrate with so many of the people that play such a big part in your annual life, a very close second best thing to having the family there!
Here's a few pictures from that night...
As you can tell probably, the night was filled with lots of music, chatting, and fairly wild antics... as might be deduced from the fourth picture... he he he!
Next blog entry will be concerning the end of the year festivities at school... Enjoy!
