Headache....

Ok, as you can guess from my title and this fancy picture I am suffering from a headache, so much so that I can't even think about celebrating the fact that it is my first TGIF day! (On a side note, my class last year was so cute, and they used to always come in on Friday morning and say, "thank you thank you!" When I would ask them why they said it, they would say, "TGIF- thank Gillian it's Friday!")
At lunch, I ate a quick bite and my head was starting to pound so I ended up having a cup of coffee and taking a nap. My ears felt like they were popping/ stuffed up, and the head was aching behind my eyes. I woke just in time to go to the community centre since our Secondarys were meeting there for an activity. It was rainy outside so we couldn't do the picnic like we had planned. But we had some prizes from the hunt the day before, and then planned on having a volleyball tournament. As I walked there, my headache continued.
I think that maybe my attempt to trick my brain did not work. I don't tend to drink a lot of coffee, only usually one per day on weekdays, and it always tends to be at 1 o'clock to help me make it through the afternoon. I don't think I can deceive myself though, the coffee I had a decaf instead of a real coffee, and the headache persisted. So the real question is: Am I addicted to coffee? It's just one per day? Tell me what you think.
So, I will you leave you with that question for now. The fog is rolling in quickly and is so thick that it is touching the ground. It might take me a while to find my way home, so I will let you all go. (PS. I will try to take some pictures of my class, my apartment, people I have talked about from my blogs, etc. this weekend, so keep reading !)

No doubt about it-- sounds to me like a caffeine deprived brain demanding immediate relief-----maybe you could start a tim's up there???
I don't think you are addicted on one coffee a day! Probably, because it was Friday, the end of a long week!..Or maybe you were hungry! I am expert on headaches. I know what each one of mine means..hehehehehe. Of course, that doesn't mean I know what yours are!!
Have a very nice relaxing weekend....love hearing from you...take care...Sue's sister! (Marsh)
Yeah, I am fairly convinced that it is caffeine related... but then again, I had a coffee after supper and the headache which had slightly subsided came back in full force... Hmmm, a mystery develops...
I miss my pal Tim's a lot! hehehe, I once joked with some teachers and said I could run a little coffee drop in at my house on Saturday mornings, but then the Cape Bretoner asked me if there would be donuts. And I realized I might be biting off more than I can chew and never did it...
I just started an aromatherapy scent in the little oil burner I have... I hope it helps! ARGH! Maybe I should get the little fountain I have going too and see if the calmness can lull away the head pain. I wonder if there is any connection between my heel walking neighbours and this pain in the head?? LOL!
Well, I am already bored and it is only an hour into the weekend... Any suggestions?
Bored in the north, hmm, hmm, what would i do---- i'd put some critical words in the blog search bar (single, attractive male) or similar interests- and check out the blogs, but my life is now revolving around blogs-- I have that dec.24 child-like anticipation of what the next day will bring----- blog, blog, blog,blog---------
That would be my kind of bar-hopping--- blog bars!!!
Thank you G....I just deleted those blogs Thanks to you.
Hmm...the beginning of the weekend and nothing to do eh? Well, it's been so long since I've been single, I just don't have a clue what to tell you!
Like Nannan says...keep blog hoppin'. I feel like I know you..Love...Marsh
you guys crack me up... I am the same way with the waiting around to see what people post...LOL... But I especially like the way you liken it to Dec. 24th.... SO true!!
I just spent an hour making a mix CD for a little girls birthday... I made her one last year and she told me it is her fave CD... It even earned me an invitation to her party tomorrow night... Man, am i ever pathetic... going to a 12 year olds b-day on Saturday night... AHHH, I am never gonna get a man at this rate!! LOL!!!
Sounds like a sinus headache to me.
But then again, if all else fails, drink a couple of strong coffees.

I just realised that I my headache is gone... have we discovered a new health benefit to blogging? Or maybe it is the lavender/camomile scent that is now emanating through my house...
Naw, probably the wonderful posts I have been receiving... or maybe the shot of Amarula liqueur that was in my REAL coffee earlier! hehehe... Who knows? LOL!
Okay, for fun I did a search using those exact words "single, attractive male" and it was pretty fun to read the results... I got a whole bunch of pages with women who were looking for "single, attractive males" and even one that said "Attractive Mixed Race male 42 seeks Masculine, Active Man"...
I think the search is hopeless up here!!! LOL!!! Oh, why oh why do I like the teaching so much... If only I hated my job a whole lot, then it would be easy to say good bye to the isolation...
Hello G,
I've just been checking out your links. When all of a sudden a name jumped out.No way it can't be Jen.and it was.
I've know Jen's Mom for many years, and even worked with her Dad at the Vanguard for awhile.
I haven't seen her in years and to be able to see what's been going on in her life was a treat.
So thank you so much for that.

the scents in your house would hve a soothing affect on the headache, I don't think it was due to lack of caffeine, or a sinus headache, you mentioned hat it was raining, if the barometric preassure was unstable chances are it was caused from that..when you get a headache like that, find out what the barometric preassure is doing, if it isn't really all that stable then chances are oyu have found the culprit..
Take care G
Tammie
Actually, I have a built in barometer in my watch (so I can be more prepared for storms when out on the tundra during day trips) and it was dropping quickly yesterday...
So I think you found the culprit... I also noticed that my left ear seems to have a bit of fluid build up maybe that is having an effect too...
G.
sounds liek you are getting an ear infection, keep an eye on it.
It's kind of weird but I heard someone say that the nursing station would clean an ear that has fluid in it by using alcohol. So I tried to do a little cleaning with that and it seems to be 10 times better... I am keeping an eye on it and keeping my ears well cover outdoors, since the wind has been kind of high lately.
haha, thanks for the reminder!! maybe someday?! Who knows!!
G.
