hehehe... I know what you mean... I am not much of an artist but was going to try to paint a window curtain thing for my door... maybe I will try to do a lotus... I'll take a pic if I dare to try...
PS... have a great sleep!
Dude, It's a good thing I don't read books. And your blog entry's are sooo long, it's like reading a book. I can't sit still that long.
Although I will give you some names of the BEST books to read to your class:
Haroun and the sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie
BFG, and Danny the Champion of the world by Roald Dahl
Somebody else's nut tree and other tales from children by Ruth Krauss
The holes in your nose by genichiro Yagyu
These are just less known ones. We all know about Shel Silverstein and the like thanks to good teachers like Mrs. P.
ok no more teacher talk.
I just updated my resume so here is my job description in point form
July 2006 to Present: Special Needs Educator, National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario
• Develop and adapt existing programs to meet various special needs populations
• Train and evaluate front-line staff (guides and interpreters)
• Liaise with stakeholders and community organizations.
• Promote adaptive services and equipment locally and nationally
Basically to participate with the greater community and create an enviroment where more people with special needs feel comfortable and safe in the gallery and have equal access like everyone else.
all the warm fuzzy stuff while working to decrease all the pretentious "gallery" crap.
I know what you mean... and have tried a few time to make them shorter... At least last night I actually figured out some formatting tips so it should be a BIT more organized and you can do a "first sentence of each paragraph" scan! LOL
Guess the isolation up here makes me want to say it all when it comes to blogging! In a couple days I will be back to work so they will probably get much shorter... (except so far I have noticed that the blog thing is simply replacing time I would have spent simply watching TV... Do you burn calories when you type?? hehehe)
"long" works for me!!!!
Hi G. - I looked through the pictures I took on the waterfront dory races. I am sorry but could not find any of your mixed team. I was lucky to get the one I did with all the folks jockeying for position. None on the water, either. Sorry.
oh well, thanks for looking Fireguy!! Maybe next year I can pay you to be our official team photographer!! LOL
Bye!
